Program Description
An ineffective risk management program can significantly impact the financial health of an organization.  Often valuable resources are used to investigate, respond to and pay for adverse events. As a non-revenue producing department, you are sometimes asked to quantify your value.   This program will review key elements of an effective risk management program, including leadership support, strategic planning/direction and proactive risk identification.  You will gain tools that will help you demonstrate that your program incorporates the best elements of an effective risk management approach.

As a result of this presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the importance of leadership support for risk management programs.
2. Delineate strategic support and direction of a risk management program.
3. Recognize the financial implications of a reactive risk management platform.
