Program Description
The Joint Commission and other organizations are increasingly recognizing that practitioner disruption is more than a pain ... it's a problem! This important program will review some of the pitfalls of classic disciplinary measures in coping with difficult practitioners and the need to use a different approach. Practical approaches to the resolution of this issue will be highlighted.

As a result of this presentation, participants will be able to:
  • Describe the impact of disruptive behavior on quality and non-hostile environments.
  • List strategies and approaches to address a practitioner's behavior.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link and instructions to view the pre-recorded Webinar and download handout materials.

What is a Webinar-on-Demand?
Webinars-on-Demand are a logistically simple way for health care providers and executives to hear national speakers and content experts address hot topics in patient safety, clinical risk reduction, regulatory and accreditation issues, and general liability trends.

Webinars-on-Demand allow participants to view a pre-recorded webinar over the Internet for sixty days.  Programs can be shared within your facility.  Participants can complete an on-line post-test and evaluation in order to receive continuing education credits.  A confirmation e-mail will be sent following the purchase of the program that includes links to access the program, handout materials, and on-line post-test and evaluation.

The Risk Management and Patient Safety Institute wishes to take reasonable steps to ensure no individual who is physically challenged is discriminated against because of the absence of auxiliary aids and services.  If special arrangements are needed please call (888) 466-4272.
